Character Persona: Tatsu’s personality is identical to Takeru’s. Always energetic, Tatsu is the kind of guy who will run into a situation without thinking through his actions first. The Yin to Suzaku/Takashi’s Yang, Tatsu’s fiery personality compliments Suzaku’s calm and collected one well. Slightly arrogant and over confident, Tatsu has a tendency to think he’s the strongest if challenged to a fight. Of course, he is pretty strong in his own right. Other than this, Tatsu has been said, by Suzaku, to be a little childish and goofy. However, when it comes to the affection both boys hold for Sayuri/Hana, they agree to act civilly about it and not try to beat the other one out at winning her over because they both want what’s best for her and their friendship isn’t worth losing of something like a love rivalry. Tatsu though, being a bit of a flirt, will occasionally try to flirt with Sayuri. But she will just brush him off, thinking he’s just joking around, which most of the time he is.
Character Background: Both Takeru and Takashi played the original version of The World when they were younger as a Twin Blade and Blademaster respectively. When The World R:2 was released, both of them agreed to play it again, making Tatsu and Suzaku, a Twin blade and Blade Brandier. Shortly after they began playing, Takeru suggested they take on the arena some time once they were both stronger. Takashi was quick to point out that if they were to do that, they would need a Harvest Cleric because items couldn’t be used in the arena. So, Takeru suggested seeing if their friend Hana would join them and, after asking her a couple of times, she finally joined with the Harvest Cleric Sayuri.
Additional Info: Takeru has known Takashi since they were kids, their parents being good friends themselves. They met Hana in elementary school and have been close friends with her since. Around the time that they were in their second year in middle school, both Takeru and Takashi realized that they both had fallen in love with Hana. However, neither of them was willing to risk their friendship on trying to win Hana over before the other could, especially since she only sees the both of them as her friends. While not a captain like his two friends are of their respective teams, Takeru is one of the best on his high school’s karate team.
