Character Persona: Suzaku, like his player Takashi, is the opposite of Tatsu/Takeru in terms of personality. While Tatsu is more energetic and gung-ho about his actions, Suzaku is more calm and collected and will think through his actions before moving into a situation. As such, the boys compliment each other well, like Yin and Yang. However, this does not mean Suzaku never gets angry. He hates when people pick on the weak, like PKs, or when his friends are in danger. When it comes to his and Tatsu’s shared affections for Sayuri/Hana, both boys have agreed not to fight for her affections because, not only does she only see the two of them as her friends, their friendship isn’t worth losing over it and they both want what’s best for her. Suzaku, however, can’t help being exasperated over Tatsu’s flirting though, even when he’s not being serious about it.
Character Background: Both Takashi and Takeru played the original version of The World when they were younger as a Blademaster and Twin Blade respectively. When The World R:2 was released, both of them agreed to play it again, making Suzaku and Tatsu, a Blade Brandier and a Twin Blade. Shortly after they began playing, Takeru suggested they take on the arena some time once they were both stronger. Takashi was quick to point out that if they were to do that, they would need a Harvest Cleric because items couldn’t be used in the arena. So, Takeru suggested seeing if their friend Hana would join them and, after asking her a couple of times, she finally joined with the Harvest Cleric Sayuri.
Additional Info: Takashi has known Takeru since they were kids, their parents being good friends themselves. They met Hana in elementary school and have been close friends with her since. Around the time that they were in their second year in middle school, both Takashi and Takeru realized that they both had fallen in love with Hana. However, neither of them was willing to risk their friendship on trying to win Hana over before the other could, especially since she only sees the both of them as her friends. Takashi is the captain of his high school’s kendo team.
